Answer:

1.first number=13.37

second number=8.031

number to get=26.5

number to be added=?

so,first add=13.37+8.031=21.401

26.5-21.401

so, the number needed to be added=5.099

2.the weight of sugar =2kg 500g

the weight of flour =1kg 200g

the weight of rice. =5 kg 800g

add the weight of sugar, flour and rice

2.500+1.200+5.800=9.95

so,the total weight of purchase=9.95kg

3.distance between two villages=8km

distance travelled by bike=3km350m

distance travelled by bicycle=2km580m

distance travelled by walking =?

add the distance travelled by bike and bicycle =3.350+2.580=5.93km

now subtract 5.93km from 8 km

8-5.93=2.07

the distance travelled by walking=2.07km

4.cost of pen=8.75

cost of pencil=3.26

cost of note book=10.85

rupees given to shopkeeper=50

amount given back by shopkeeper=?

add the cost of pen, pencil and note book

8.75+3.25+10.85=22.85

now subtract 22.85 from 50

50-22.85=27.15

so the amount given by shopkeeper=₹27.15

5.cost of 1 litre petrol=76.62

cost of 1 litre kerosene=38.25

difference between their cost is 76.62-38.25=38.37

so the petrol is ₹38.37 more than kerosene
