Step-by-step explanation:

Total money = 16,000

Money spend on food = 1/4 of 16,000

= 1/4*16,000

= 16000/4

= 4000

Left money :- 16,000 - 4,000

= 12,000

Money spend on house rent from the remaining money (12,000) = 3/10 of the remainder

= 3/10 * 12,000

= 12,000/10

= 1,200

Remaining money = 12,000 - 1,200

= 10,800

Left money after paying house rent =

10,800

Money spend on education :- 5/12 of the left money (10, 800)

= 5/12* 10,800

(10800*5)/12

= 54000/12

= 4,500

Money spend on education = 4,500

Money left

Money spend on food :- 4,000

Money spend on house rent :- 1,200

Money spend on education :- 4,500

Total money spend or expenditures

= 4,000 + 1,200 + 4,500

= 9,7000

Total money = 16,000

Expenditure = 9,700

Left money = 16,000 - 9,700

= 6,300

Answer:

4900/-

Step-by-step explanation:

Total income of rita = 16000/-

he spents 1/4 of his income on food

= 16000 × 1/4

= 12000

now he had 12000/- with him

from this income he spent 3/10 on house rent

= 12000 × 3/10

= 3600

12000 - 3600 = 8400/-

from this remainder he spent 5/12 on education

= 8400 × 5/12 = 3500

8400 - 3500 = 4900

4900/- was left with him
