Here's your answer...
Let the total distance be 3x.
So for the first part,
speed = 1 m/s
distance = x m
Time = x/1 = x s
For the second part,
speed = 2 m/s
distance = x m
Time = x/2 s
For the third part,
speed = 3 m/s
distance = x m
Time = x/3 s
Total distance = 3x
Total time = x+x/2+x/3
= x + 5x/6
= 11x/6
Avg. speed = Total distance/Total time
= 3x/(11x/6)
= 18/11 m/s
≈ 1.64 m/s
