Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a, Voltage in Parallel connection is equal.

So V= 6v

V= IR

i, R= 5 ohm

6/5=I

Current in first resistor is 1.2 amp

ii, R= 10 ohm

I= 6/10

Current in 2nd resistor is 0.6 amp

iii, R= 20 ohm

I= 6/20

Current in 3rd resistor is 0.3 amp

c, Effective resistance in parallel

\frac{1}{R_{p} } =  \frac{1}{R_{1} } + \frac{1}{R_2} + \frac{1}{R_3}

{R_1} = 5

{R_2} = 10

{R_3} = 15

\frac{1}{R_{p} } =\frac{6+3+2}{30}

    =\frac{11}{30}

Rp= 30/11

b, Total current in circuit is 2.2 amp

6*11/30=I

11/5=

2.2 amp
