I need to know how to simplify -5(20 + 3)

Step to Simply the above question :-

1st Method :-

-5( 20 + 3 )

First you need to solve Sum given in the Bracket as per BDMAS rule .

So,

-5 × 23

Then multiple both the terms .

-115 ( Ans )

2nd Method :-

-5( 20 + 3 )

First Multiple both the term given in bracket by -5 .

-100 - 15

Now solve the result .

- 115 ( Ans )
