8.For the purposes of agricultural development following practices are needed:
 i) Improved methods of farming and the use of HYV seeds.to increase yields. ii)A well built system of irrigation to irrigate large areas.
iii) Use of chemical fertilizers and a mechanized system of farming by using tractors and hydro electric machines. .
 iv) Farming needs to be practiced on a large scale and crop production should be specialized.


9.The climatic conditions suitable for the cultivation of tea are as follows:
 i) Tea requires high temperature in summer. The lowest temperature for the cultivation of tea is sixteen degree centigrade.
ii) It requires heavy rainfall for production.
iii) It requires fertile mountain soil with more humus content.
iv) It requires well drained land. Heavy rainfall is needed but water should not be stagnant. Mountain slopes are ideal for tea cultivation


10.Agriculture in India includes raising crops from the land,animal husbandry,agroforestry and pisciculture.India is preeminently an agriculture country.It has been practiced here since time immemorial.Some of the outstanding features of Indian agriculture are as:
