given,
BC=21 cm
AB=28cm
B°=90°
given triangle is right angles triangle,
by Pythagoras theorem we can find the other side
AC²=AB²+BC²=21²+28²=441+784=1225
AC=√1225=35cm
Area of semicircle=1/2 πr²
=1/2*22/7*(35/2)²
=1*22*35*35/2*7*2*2
=11*35*5/4
=1925/4
=481.25cm²

Area of triangle= 1/2 * base * height
=1/2*BC*AB
=1/2*21*28
=294cm²

Area of shaded region= area of triangle + area of semicircle
= 481.25cm²+294cm²
=775.25cm²

JUST I GUESS THE PROBLEM . HOPE U CAN UNDERSTAND IT

nikki1231: because they given the question AC is diameter we want radius so radius is half of the diameter
nikki1231: in the question
nikki1231: ha
nikki1231: AC=35
