I not understand the terms symmetric form in equation of a line in symmetric form

it's too easy symmetric is like when we divide any part Nd both prt split in Same size we can say it symmetric.nd in a equation nomber of carbon decide symmetric..if there is a 2 4 6 8 10 nomber carbon it's mean this is a symmetric equation.and symmetric equation is optically inactives
