i purchased a computer set with accessories for rs 28000 including 12% VAT. how much VAT did I pay?

Rythm14: 28000/x=100/12
(28000/x)* x = (100/12)*x
28000=8.33333333333*x (8.33333333333)
28000/8.33333333333 = x

x=3360

VAT is equal to 12% of rupees 28000
VAT=12\100×28000
VAT=12×280
VAT=₹3360
