The nightingale was highly influenced by the frog. In spite of knowing that she has a melodious voice and could not be better to try to imitate the frog. Not knowing one's strength is not ignorance but foolishness. She took training from the frog who exploited her and finally met her end. This shows that she was in fact a brainless bird.
