• The author thought that he was the best at packing it was one of the things that could be best done by him.
• Thinking this he felt a sense of superiority about his packing skills. Although he is disorganized and bungling.
• He forgot to pack his boots at first and has to reopen his bag. Afterward, his frantic search for his toothbrush turned into a complete mess. Then he again had to reopen his bag to take out his spectacles.
