I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence;
Two roads diverged in a wood,and I
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Answers
Answer:
Explanation:(a) The poem is The road not taken and the poet is Robert Frost.
(b)The poet took the less travelled road because he wanted to do something different in his life apart from what people usually do.
(c) He was in a dilemma because he was confused whether he should be practising the age old customs or he should be travelling on a new path to a new journey in his life.
(d) He was standing on the most important road in his life which would determine what type of ambition he wanted to pursue and where that road will lead him.
(a) The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost
(b) The poet too the road less travelled by as he wanted to explore a new path. He wanted to accept its challenges. He wanted to do something different in his life. Everyone else seemed to travel through the road he didn't choose - the poet didn't want to be like everyone else. And that had made all the difference.
(c) Though the poet wanted to choose the one less travelled by, he was doubtful. Would he find success in it? The other road looked pleasant ; many seemed to prefer it over the grassy, lonely one. The dilemma is that the speaker can only take one road. While the speaker would like to take both roads, he can only take one. Should he be like others and just go through the more preferred road, or should he go through what he feels would be the more 'adventurous' one? He wonders, as mentioned in the poem, if he could come back someday and choose the other road. He ends up picking the one less travelled by.
(d) The poet stands in the yellow woods at a point where the roads forked into two. It is a poetic way of telling us that he stands at the stage of making a life-changing decision.
