Robert frost was in dilemma. He was on his path of life confused to choose between two diverged paths. One was frequently used, easy one and another one was a difficult one. He stood at the end where the roads diverged. It was here where he says these sentences. This statement is ambiguous. The use of word sigh tells that he is sad but the end result was a happy one.
