hey !!!

sinx + sin²x = 1 ---------1)

=> sinx = 1 - sin²x

=> sinx = cos²x ---------2)

and if sinx = cos⁴x -------3)

so....cos²x + cos⁴x = 1 ( from 2 and 3 equation)

then cos²x + cos⁴x =1 .
