Given,

Marks                 Number of Students

10 - 20                             x

20 - 30                           30

30 - 40                           2x

40 - 50                           65

Total number of students M = 180

So, we have,

25 + x + 30 + 2x + 65 = 180

120 + 3x = 180

3x = 180 - 120

3x = 60

x = 20

Therefore, the value of x is 20.
