The rational form of 0.4 is

\bf \longmapsto \dfrac{4}{10}

If there is no zero after the decimal, we divide the rest of the number by 10 which is after 0

Hope it helps.

Answer:

4/10

if any of that type of question is asked (like rational number of 0.6, 0.02, 0.35 etc.) you have to just write the number that has been written on left side of decimal like 0.02 = just 2 and in denominator you will write the number of places, left side of decimal.

like - 2/100

another example-

0.35= 35/100

35.68= 3568/100
