(i )the sum of the roots of the quadratic equation X2-X+1 = 0 is 1 . true or false. (ii) the geometric mean of two quantities p and q is pq. true or false.​

ax {}^{2}  + bx + c = 0

then sum of roots is

 \frac{ - coff. \: of \: x}{coff \: of \: x {}^{2} }

on comparing with given equation

sum of roots = -(-1)/1 = 1

⏩ is true

2) we know that GM of two no X and y is

 \sqrt{xy}

then, GM of p and q is √pq not pq

⏩ it is false
