This means that she was not the ghost of the Helen who was kidnapped to Troy, (or whatever myth people believe in), but an ordinary Helen who used to work for a magazine as a reader. It is also possible that the name "Helen of Troy" was her pseudonym or pen name when she used to work as the reader for that magazine (a name someone uses so that he/she does not have to reveal his/her real name and surname), after her mythological namesake (Helen of Troy).
