I wandered lonely place to place
In search of eternal peace
It took me years to then realise
It was my family that brought me ease.
A drop of tear
My mother would fear
And not let it roll down my cheek,
It was dad, he
who held my hand
and made me walk past thee.
It was their love and care
That made of me what I am today.
A smile and a word of love is just
What they wanted me to say,
The comfort of my mother's lap
And the strength my father
gave
Are the most precious of all assets
That a noble man could make.
Admire nature and love all is what they taught me,
Then how could I go so far away from the blissful glee.
I wish to rush back to my native place
Am tired of roving around
Like a vagabond from place to place
When home is calling aloud.
