I wanna to know how video calls work.What actually happened when we do video calling.Please tell me guys...

it is just like phone calls and the computer engineer have just given more feature to smart phone that eveey person can talk with each other face to face.

Batu1: I also know that but I wanna know that if we send video it takes time then how video call is faster.

There is not much happening when you video call. A live video is just streamed to the person on the other side and the same for the other guy as well. Answering to Batu - The Call, even though it takes time to record and answer, happens so instantaneously, that the time lag is not noticed very often. There is a delay of about 2-3 seconds on a slow broadband connection, but on a 3G or 4G network, there is a very small delay of 500-600 ms. Nowadays, almost all networks and fiber broadbands give a delay of < 300ms. It is a live video. A snap is nothing but a series of Pictures captured at a fast rate along with audio. A video without an audio layer would be useless. So it is surely a video.
