Electric and electronic appliances used at home.
Power rating is the power consumed and work done. Voltage is usually 220/230 Volts AC.
The current is input AC current.
Microwave oven : power : 1.5 kW. V = 220 Volts. I = 8.5 Amp.
electric induction cooker. V = 220 Volts, Power = 1000 I = 4.25 Amp
LCD TV : 210 Watts. V = 220 Volts. I = 1.2 Amp AC input
Lap Top : 150 Watts. V = 220 Volts. I = 0.85 Amp AC input.
Table clock with radio : 10 Watts. V = 220 V, I = 0.06 Amp
Stereo set + radio : 30 Watts. V = 220 V. I = input 0.17 Amp
Refrigerator : Power: 60 Watts. V= 220 V. I = 0.034 Amp
Radio + telephone: 50 Watts: V = 220 V. I = 0.30 amp.
CD Player :
output power: 85 Watts. V = 220 V. I = 0.48 Amp. input current.
==========================
Battery charger:
220 V input AC. output Voltage: 12 V DC. Output current: 1.5 Amp DC
power: consumed: 18 Watts.
Set top box:
15 watts. input voltage: 220 V AC. current consumed: 0.085 Amp AC.
Digital thermo meter:
works on a button cell. 5 Volts DC. around 5-10 milli amp.
This voltage and current are drawn from the button cell and then the digital circuit for the display works.
