Poverty, migration, lack of access to quality education, unemployed parents are some reasons that force children into labour depriving them of their right to education, development- and a childhood. CRY tackles the root causes which force children to work, ensuring they are moved out of work into school. Join us in making a difference. Every contribution counts.Despite laws prohibiting it, child labor is rampant in South Asia's handmade rug industry. Children ages 4 to 14 are kidnapped or sold and forced to work as many as 18 hours a day to weave rugs destined for export markets such as the US and Europe. While some people mistakenly think it is better when all members of a family work, child labor actually makes poverty worse. The more children are forced to work, the fewer opportunities there are for adults to earn a living. By driving down adult wages and depriving children of education, child labor ensures that poverty will be passed down from generation to generation.  Not only does child labor lead to a perpetual cycle of poverty for a family, it also depresses the economy.

Child labour.......one of the worst social evil ,all the children wants to study and its their right but however, the parents do not have much money to admit their children in a good school the do not have money to fill the family's stomach ....so because of these reasons children have to work as a labour and their child's life has been spoil and their childhood has been taken from them ......And when the children are separated from their families and gone on work there is nobody to teach them good and bad manners many of them walk on the wrong path and only few them choose the right one.
