Hindi is a direct descendant of Sanskrit through Prakrit and Apabhramsha. It has been influenced and enriched by Dravidian, Turkish, Farsi, Arabic, Portuguese and English. It is a very expressive language. In poetry and songs, it can convey emotions using simple and gentle words.Actually now-a-days, it has been observed that in most of english medium school besides engish, hindi or other languages this means that english is also not so much popular than hindi.

Hindi language is very old and has a direct evolution to Sanskrit as such it is part of one of the oldest religious and literary tradition in the world- traditions that have influence other religions and works of art whether we realise it or not as such Hindi is incredible important in the historical . development of the worlds culture and worth not just honouring but studying. anyone with an interest in world history of history languages would do well to do a little intense of reading on the subject of Hindi
