Education ,in the initial years tends to make you feel a sense of achievement and you tend to get upset with divergent views coming from people you know to be illiterate. As you grow in real education, you are humbled by the sheer magnitude of the areas you are ignorant about, and your pursuit of knowledge is more quiet. Then comes a phase where you find that people without necessary knowledge are exploited. You try to help them by giving tips and suggestions to them. The exploiters now turn on you,and perceive you as their enemy. It now becomes obligatory for you to organize the exploited and arrange for their sensitisation to the real problems.What started as a mere good will gesture now becomes a Mission. Mostpeople turn away after this phase is reached. Some become Spiritual advisors to continue withthe mission.Some others become political leaders ,for the same purpose. Some of them then turn their backs on the exploited ones and join the exploiters’ club.
A similar process happens in the case of Scientific pursuits too.Alfred Nobel, the person mostv asociated with the Peace Prize ,had accumulated the wealth from which the prize money is paid , from trading in Ordanance.
