=> 0.5x - 0.8 = 0.2 - 0.5x

=> 0.5x + 0.5x = 0.2 + 0.8

=> 1x = 1

=> x = 1

35) by cross multiplication,

=> 2(9 - 3x) = 5(7 - 4x)

=> 18 - 6x = 35 - 20x

=> 20x - 6x = 35 - 18

=> 14x = 17

=> x = 17/14
