Deepika Padukone is the leading actress in Bollywood currently. She is the daughter of Prakash Padukone, a badminton player. When she was young,she had no intentions of becoming an actress. When she started with her career, she could not speak in Hindi properly. Her first movie, Om Shanti Om, was an average one. Her voice was dubbed. Then her next few films were also flops. She had her first giant leap in 2013, with Rohit Shetty in Chennai Express, Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Raam Leela and Ayan Mukherjee in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor respectively.
