Given,.

X=m-1. y=2m-1

now,.

3x+2y+7=0

=>3(m-1)+2(2m-1)=0

=>3m-3+4m-2=0

=>7m-5=0

=>7m=5

Answer:

m = - 1 . 2 (or) 5/7

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the answer to this equation

3x + 2y + 7 = 0

3x + 2y = 0 - 7

3x + 2y = - 7

Let's take 3x as - 7 - 2y and substitute it

3 ( - 7 - 2y) + 2y = -7

- 21 - 6y + 2y = -7

- 21 - 4y = -7

- 4y = -7 + 21

- 4y = 14

y = 14/-4 = - 3 . 5

If - 3.5 is y, then x is

3x = - 7 - 2(3.5)

3x = - 7 - 7

3x = - 14

x = -14/3 = 4.67

-------------------------------

If y = 2m - 1 then y + 1 = 2m

- 3.5 + 1 = 2m

- 2.5 = 2m

-2.5 / 2 = m

- 1 . 2 or 5/7 = m

Hope my answer helps you :-)
