Friction provides heat. This heat is unnecessary. Useful energy is wasted. Friction makes sound which is also unnecessary. It opposes the motion. Machine consume more fuel due to friction which is a loss of money. Machine efficiency is decreased. Soles of our shoes will worn out due to friction. Forest fire is caused further friction between branches. Machines may tear or wear due to friction.
