Answer:

ANSWER :)

2) Let ACB represents the tree before it broken at the point C and let the top A’ touches the ground at A after it broke. Then triangle ACB is a right angled triangle, right angled at B.

AB = 3m

BC = 4m

Using Pythagoras Theorem, In triangle ABC

(AC)² = (AB)² + (BC)²

(AC)² = (3)² + (4)²

(AC)² = 9 + 16

(AC)² = 25

AC = 5m

Hence the total height of the tree AC + CB = 5m + 4m = 9m

1) By Pythagoras Theorem,

(H)² = (P)² + (B)²

(H)² = 10² + 24²

(H)² =100 + 576

(H)² = 676

H = 26

Hence QR = 26cm

H = Hypotenuse ( longest side of a right angled triangle)

P = Perpendicular

B = Base

Answer:

The falling water rotates blades of a turbine, which then spins a generator that converts the mechanical energy of the spinning turbine into electrical energy. Hydroelectric power is a significant component of electricity production worldwide.
