put 1/(2x+y)=p,1/(2x-y)=q

then the eqns will become

14p+3q=5

3p-4q=25/7

multiply 1st eqn with 3 & eqn 2 with 14

42p+ 9q =15

42p-56q=50

65q= -35

q= -7/13

subs in 1st eqn

3p+28/13=25/7

3p=25/7 - 28/13

3p=(325-196)/91

3p=129/91

p=43/91

now 1/(2x+y)=p=43/91

2x+y=91/43

86x+43y=91

86x+43y-91=0 be eqn 3

1/(2x-y)= -7/13

2x-y=-13/7

14x-7y= -13

14x-7y+13=0 be eqn 4

by solving 3 & 4 we get the values of x&y
