India's poverty line in 2014 is a monthly income of just Rs 970 in rural areas and Rs 1400 in Urban areas.

Now India and its people are awake. The progressive policies are paving way for a prosperous India. In a few decades, we will surely see every citizen of India above poverty line. That is, all citizens will have the basic needs of hygienic and nutritious food, decent clothing and a house to live in. That's the India I wish to see.
