2) Mr. Shekhar spends 60% of his income. From the balance he donates Rs. 300 to an

Let the income of shekhar = X
Since he spends 60% of his income
that means = X × 60/100
He also Donets = ₹300
Left balance = 3200
Total Income = Expenditure + Donation + Balance
X = X × 60/100 + 300 + 3200
X = 60X/100 + 3500
X - 60X/100 = 3500
100 X - 60X /100 = 3500
40X/100 = 3500
4X/10 = 3500
X = 35000/4
X = 8750
Hence Mr. Shekhar's total Income = ₹ 8750
