1. √3
Draw a right angle triangle with angles = 60 and 30 deg.
Draw AD horizontal line. Draw a perpendicular line AE. Now Draw an arc
on AE with center = A, of length = 1, cutting AE at B.
Now with B as the center draw a line of length 2 units, cutting AD at C. Then
AC will be of length √3 units.
2. root 5
Draw a right angle triangle. Draw AD. Draw AE perpendicular to AD. Draw an arc of radius 1 unit, cutting AE at B.
With A as the center draw an arc of radius 2 units, cutting AD at C. Join BC. it will be of length √5.
3. root 5
Draw a right angle triangle ABC...
Draw AD horizontally. Draw AE perpendicular to AD. Then draw an arc of length 2 units, cutting AE at B. Now with B as the center draw an arc cutting AD at C. Then AC will be √5 units long.
4 ) root 6
Draw AD horizontally. Draw AE perpendicular to AD. Cut AE with arc of radius 1, at B. So AB = 1. With B as the center draw an arc of radius 2 units, cutting AD at C. Now AC will be √3 units. With A as the center, and radius equal to AC, draw an arc cutting AE at F. So AF = AC = root 3. Now join FD. length of FD will be √6 units.
