Question : Find three consecutive odd natural numbers, where sum is 87.

Answer :-

Here, we can take the number as x.

An odd number is in the form of (2x -1 )

Hence, the numbers will be,

2x - 1 + 2x - 1 + 2 + 2x - 1 + 4 = 87

6x + 3 = 87

6x = 84

x = 84/6 = 14

Hence the odd numbers will be,

2x - 1 = 28 - 1 = 27

The numbers are --- 27, 29, 31

Hope this helps.
