Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Just suppose breadth be X and length be X+6

In a rectangle we have 2 length and 2 breadth.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+ breadth)

Perimeter given 44

2*(X+X+6) = 44

X+X+6=22

X+X = 16

X=8

Breadth=8cm

Length=(8+6)=14cm

B.

Area of rectangle = l*b

14*8 = 112

Area is 112 cm^2

Hope you are satisfied

Let the breadth of the park be x

Then, Length = 6 m + x

According to the question,

2 ( l + b ) = 44 m\\=>2 ( 6 + x + x ) = 44 m\\=>2x + 6 = \frac{44}{2} m\\ =>2x = 22-6\\=>x=\frac{16}{2}=8        m

(a)length= x+6 = 14 m

and breadth= 8 m

(b)

area = length x breadth

= 14 m x 8 m

= 112 m
