I want to ask if marks are cut for exceeding word limit in english board exam. Actually in marking scheme issued by cbse it is clearly mentioned that no marks have to be deducted by exceeding word limit but i think i overdid it. Here's a summary:
I wote 4 pages on question based on novel.
3 pages on value based long question
Almost half page for short answers.
Kindly give your opinion:)

I have always heard that it's strictly prohibited to follow the word limit cus the examiner gets irritated by seeing such long answers and answers so long are applicable only in the state boards but it depends on the examiner too maybe u wrote wonderful stuff in answers or maybe the examiner was good or in a good mood then he wouldn't be deducting your marks and I really hope he's one of them and gives you all the deserving marks.. good luck
