There is large number of historical buildings all over India. But the Taj Mahal at Agra is the most famous among them. It is one of the most famous among them. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Every year thousands of tourists from all over the world visit the Taj. It was built by the mogul emperor shahjehan.

He built it in the memory of his dear wife mumtaz. It was completed in twenty – two years. It cost Shahjehan more than three crore of rupees. It is made of white marble. It stands on the right bank of the Yamuna.

There is a minaret in each of its four corners. There are two tombs in it. One of them is of mumtaz mahal. The other is of Shahjehan. There are beautiful gardens on their sides of the Taj. On the fourth side flows the Yamuna. The taj looks very beautiful in the light of a full moon.It is a dream in marble.It was a very interesting visit.
