I was walking alone through the street and the street lights had all gone off and I was returning from tuition, it was dark and chilling, I could feel the air touching my skin. I could not see anything, it was too dark, too quiet not even the quiet whispers of the wind could break the silence. The only thing that broke the silence was the sudden laughter of children, it gave me a fright, but instead of running away from the children, I walked closer towards it, the nearer I got closer, the more laughter I could here. But why would children play in the middle of the cold, cold night. Once I got as close as possible, it stopped. I peeked around the edge of the building and I saw a shadows, shadows of children but there weren't any children, just the shadows. In the middle of the shadows, came a tall man, so slender you could knock him over with the slightest touch. He growled and started to move towards me, and I started sprinting, I was sprinting towards my house. Once I touched the door knob I opened the door wide open and slammed it. Safe at last but why was my door already unlocked, I could hear the children again and shadows all around me then, I was at rest, I could finally let go.
