-> Periodicity refers to Trends or recurring variations in the Element properties with the increasing Atomic Number.

(ii) Newland in 1869, that if the chemical properties of a element are arranged according to their increasing Atomic Mass those with the similar Physical and Chemical properties occur after each interval of Seven elements.

Ex: Cobalt (Co), Nickel (Ni), Platinum (Pt)
