(i) Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.(ii) There are some factors which lead to stress:

  • Being under lots of pressure.
  • Facing big changes.
  • Worrying about something.

not having much or any control over the outcome of a situation.

(iii) Psychosocial stress is the result of a cognitive appraisal of what is at stake and what can be done about it. Psychosocial stress results when we look at a perceived threat in our lives.
