Given:

The attached figure

To Find:

The values of each angle

Solution:

Before solving we should know that supplementary angles are equal to 180 degrees and opposite and transversal angles are equal. So,

(1) Given the value of angle 1 as 76degree, now

\angle1=\angle3=76^{\circ}

and angle 1 and 2 are supplementary angles so,

\angle1+\angle2=180\\\angle 2=104^{\circ}

and also,

\angle 2=\angle4=104^{\circ}

And we also know that,

\angle1=\angle5=76\\\angle 2=\angle6=104\\\angle4=\angle8=104\\\angle3=\angle7=76

Hence, angle 1,3,5,7 and angle 2,4,6,8 is 76 and 104 degrees respectively.

(2) we know that supplementary angles are equal to 180, so

10x+2+3x+9=180\\13x=169\\x=13

So,

\angle1=10x+2\\=10*13+2\\=132\\\angle2=3x+9\\=48

Hence, the value of angles 1,2 is 132 and 48 respectively.
