when the simon commission arrived in india in 1928 it was greeted with the slogan "go back simon"....the simon commission had the responsibilty to look after the functioning of the constitutional system in india...but the problem was that the commission did not have a single indian member...there were all british in the commission...this was the reason for the boycott of simon commission..

Helloooo.....

The Simon Commission was setup in 1927 under Sir John Simon. It was setup in response to the nationalist movement. It was formed to look after the functioning of the Constitutional system of India.

It was boycotted as it doesn't had a single Indian member into it.
