Let us take the 1st Equation : 3x + 7 = 10

⇒ 3x = 10 - 7

⇒ 3x = 3

⇒ x = 1

But it is given in the Equation solution that x = -1, so this equation needs to be corrected with x = 1

2nd Equation : 5(x + 4) - x = 40

⇒ 5x + 20 - x = 40

⇒ 4x + 20 = 40

⇒ 4x = 40 - 20

⇒ 4x = 20

⇒ x = 5

It is given that the solution for this equation is x = 5 and we got x = 5, so it needs no correction

3rd Equation : (x - 3)/4 = 3

⇒ (x - 3) = 4 × 3

⇒ x - 3 = 12

⇒ x = 15

But it is given in the Equation solution that x = 12 so this equation needs to be corrected with x = 15

4th Equation : 7 = (1/3)x + 5

⇒ (1/3)x = 7 - 5

⇒ (1/3)x = 2

⇒ x = 6

It is given that the solution for this equation is x = 6 and we got x = 6, so it needs no correction

Picture : 2

We know that (6 × 6) = 36 and also (-6 × -6) = 36

⇒ if d² = 36 then the variables which make the equation true are both +6 and -6

⇒ x = (+ or -) 6

Hey Mate ⭐✋⭐

Here's ur answer ⤵

3x + 7 = 10

⇒ 3x = 10 - 7

⇒ 3x = 3

⇒ x = 1

1 is incorrect

5(x + 4) - x = 40

⇒ 5x + 20 - x = 40

⇒ 4x + 20 = 40

⇒ 4x = 40 - 20

⇒ 4x = 20

⇒ x = 5

2nd equation is correct.

(x - 3)/4 = 3

⇒ (x - 3) = 4 × 3

⇒ x - 3 = 12

⇒ x = 15

3rd equation is incorrect.

7 = (1/3)x + 5

⇒ (1/3)x = 7 - 5

⇒ (1/3)x = 2

⇒ x = 6

Equation 4 is correct

Hence, equations 2 and 4 are correct.

We know that (6 × 6) = 36 and also (-6 × -6) = 36

⇒ if d² = 36 then the variables which make the equation true are both +6 and -6

⇒ x = (+ or -) 6

The correct option is b for 2nd picture.

Hope it helps you! ヅ
