Hello Morrhady my friend,

Your answer :

Let the number of vans in the park is x.

Number of cars = thrice as many vans= 3x

Number of cars=twice the number of motorcycles. Number of motorcycles= 3x/2

The number of wheels in the cars = 3x*4 = 12x

Number of wheels in the van = x*4 = 4x

Number of wheels in motorcycles = 3x/2*2 = 3x

Given that,

12x+4x+3x = 4598

19x = 4598

x = 4598/19

x = 242

Number of cars = 3x = 242*3=726

Number of vans = x = 242

Number of motorcycles = 3x/2 = 3*242/2 = 363.

Now one third of the motorcycles have had left the park.

Number of motorcycles that had left the park = 363*1/3 = 121.

Total number of vehicles = 726+242+363 = 1331

Vehicles that remain in the park = 1331-121 = 1210.

Hope it's helpful to you.
