x+1/x= root 5
(on squaring both side)
x²+1/x²+2=5
x²+1/x²=5–2=3 ans
x²+1/x²=3(again squaring both side)
x4+1/x4+2=9
x4+1/x4=9–2=7
if you have any query then ask.

shubhamkumar81: how

☢️SOLUTION ☢️

GIVEN :

⏩ x + 1/x = √5

FIND :

⏩ the values of x² + 1/x²

⏩ x⁴ + 1/x⁴

▶️ x + 1/x = √5

▶️( x + 1/x) = (√5)²

▶️ x² + 1/x² = 5

▶️ x² +1/x² +2 = 5

▶️ x² + 1/x² = 5 - 2

▶️ x² + 1/x² = 3.

then,

⏩ x⁴ + 1/x⁴

▶️( ( x + 1/x)²) ²= (3)²

▶️ x⁴ + 1/x⁴ + 2 = 9

▶️ x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = 9-2

▶️ x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = 7
