The answer is 4cm.

as in the question it states that tanA = 4/3

since we know that tan(theta) = p/b

i.e. perpendicular upon base.

so according to the figure.

BC is the perpendicular and AB is base

so, tanA = BC/AB

so, according to it the length of BC is 4cm.
