all probabilities should add to one, so

1/4+6/8+1/2+p(white)=1

then

p for white balls=1-(1/4+6/8+1/2)=20/16=5/4

5/4 is equivalent to26 white balls

 then 1/8 is equivalent to how many blue balls

using cross product gives,

26*(1/8)/(13/24)=6 blue balls

u hv given an impossible question it cannot be solved the ans will always come in negative .....e.g if u take 100 as total balls and half of them are yellow so 50 balls will be yellow if the green balls are 1 by 4 then by taking one 4th of 100 we get 25 if 25 balls are gone away as green then we cant fit the white balls abnd the blue balls same is the case with every answer that comes either it is 500 or 1000 so ir question is totally wrong
