1st question

Given,

  • Draw a line segments AB=7 or cmAB=7 cm and bisect it.

Following steps:

  • Draw a line segments AB=7 or cmAB=7 cm using scale.

  • Take AA as center and 4 or cm4 cm (more then half of ABAB length) as radius draw arc on above and below of line ABAB

  • Take BB and same radius draw two arc above and below of the line ABAB which cuts before arc at XX and YY

  • Join XYXY

  • Hence, XYXY be the bisect line of the line ABAB .

2nd question

The value of sec thetasecθ is equal to \sqrt{2}

\orange{\bigstar}\:\:{\underline{\boxed{\bf\red{Brief\:Explanation}}}}

We have, tan thetatanθ = 1

To find, the value of sec thetasecθ = ?

∴ tan \:thetatanθ \:= \:1

⇒ tan \: thetatanθ \: = \: tan \: 45tan45

We know that,

Using trigonometric,

tan \:45tan45\: = \:1

⇒ thetaθ \:= \:45°

∴  sec\: thetasecθ

= sec \:45\:=\:sec45

sqrt{2}

The value of sec thetasecθ = \sqrt{2}

Thus, the value of sec thetasecθ is equal to \sqrt{2}
