The main aim of the midday scheme was to make students from poor families attend regular school. As some parents aren’t capable of providing their children with sufficient food. Cause of the midday meal scheme more students have enrolled in schools. Teachers reported that students went home during the lunch and don’t return. With the midday meal being provided in the school this problem is solved. The meal is prepared by unemployed women therefore they get some money through this too.
