I WILL MARK YOU BRAINLIEST URGENT please give me some differences between how xylem and phloem work? I know that xylem only transports water in one direction while phloem transports sucrose in multiple directions.
Much appreciated, thanks!

Xylem contains dead cell and are present in the outer syrface and vice versa to phloem

Xylem tissues of root stem and leaves are interconnected and form a water conducting channel.
Roots continually takes up ions from the soil this creates concemr gradient. To eliminate the difference water moves in to roots. And the suction produce by transpiration in leaves pulls up water in leaves.
The transport of food by photosynthesis is called translocation.
This is done with the help of phloem which is bidirectional and in it ATP is involved.
